PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence System + 2 Collars

The PetSafe Basic In‑Ground Fence lets you create a custom boundary, covers up to 1/3 acre with the included 500 ft of wire, and can be expanded to 5 acres with extra wire. The kit includes a Deluxe UltraLight receiver collar (tone‑only plus four adjustable static levels), transmitter, and flags; installation is a DIY weekend project and, with training, many dogs learn the boundary in about two weeks. Add extra receiver collars for multiple pets.

  • An electric dog fence uses a buried wire and receiver collar to signal your dog near the boundary. The collar beeps as a warning, then delivers a mild static correction if your dog continues. Dogs typically learn their boundaries within 2 weeks.

  • The fence kit covers 1/3 acre. For 1 acre add 1 spool, 2 acres needs 2 spools, 5 acres needs 3 spools, 10 acres needs 5 spools, and 25 acres needs 8 additional spools.

  • The system is designed for dogs 8 lbs and up, aged 6 months or older. The adjustable collar fits neck sizes 6–26 inches and is waterproof, so it holds up during outdoor play in all weather.

This fence allows you to expand your best friend's play area by 5 acres with the purchase of additional wire and training flags. This In-Ground Fence kit comes with 2 UltraLight Receiver Collars. The waterproof collars feature a tone-only mode for training, plus 4 levels of adjustable correction depending on your dog's temperament. The receiver collars have a low-battery indicator that will let you know when it is time to replace the battery. The collars adjust to fit neck sizes between 6-26 inches and are recommended for pets who weigh 8 pounds and up. With the purchase of additional PetSafe In-Ground Fence receiver collars, the PetSafe Basic In-Ground Fence will contain an unlimited number of pets with a single system.
